    Trade 1: Long +20
    Trade 2: Short -30
    Trade 3: Long -25
    Trade 4: Short +85
    Trade 5: Long +100
    Trade 6: Short -100
    Trade 7: Long +500 (Alt. Trade 7:Long -250)
Stop the EA and wait for next crossover.
    Hi Highfield,

    Hopefully better late than never!

Try this one and see if it does what you're after:

Nice. I will give it a run too.
I haven't had much joy with the 'Reverse Order On Stop Loss' idea I was going to try code. Seems my rusty BASIC belongs on the same old junk pile with my C64.
I would love if you could take a crack at it Jim, as I think it would be a good way to recoup losses when the market reverses.
But I imagine your time is needed elsewhere with MT5 looming.

Wow! These last few weeks have been totally off the wall! I mean, I haven't had a moment to stop and think about trading systems or indicators, let alone catch my breath - crazy, crazy. Next week I hope to find some time to test the code out on Metatrader - thanks again, Jim.

    Hello again Highfield,

It's amazing how time flies when you're enjoying yourself, isn't it! Do let us know what you make of the latest tweaks.

    Hi Jim
First I want to say thank for the MA Cross EA. It works better than any others I've tried. Second I have a suggestion. Right now Guru3 exits a trade when the MAs re-cross and Guru3A exits at your SL/TP. I was thinking of combining the two. Make it so that you can set a TP but exit the trade when the MAs re-cross. The re-cross would be you SL/TP if it does not make it to you set TP.

    Again, fantastic EA!

    Hi there fellow traders,
I concur, also if internet went out would have hard stop in, I was thinking/hoping Guru3B was going to do that.
Most Excellent EA! Thanks a bunch...if this works out nicely I'll send some cash!

    My pleasure.

Apologies for my tardy reply, but as I've mentioned elsewhere I'm personally concentrating on all things non MT4 at the moment. I would hope that there are enough MT4 examples on here already to allow someone to come up with what you are suggesting with just a little bit of cutting and pasting, from Guru03A to Guru03 in this case.

Any MT4 coders out there fancy rolling up their sleeves and volunteering for the job?

    Hi Jim,

I agree, thanks so much for making these available. This is a great resource to learn from.
